About Us
We care about the environment, the world we live in, the animals, nature, and the people affected by us. BFM was established in 2021 by Katia Lachmish with the outbreak of COVID-19. During the pandemic, she witnessed the waste of consumerism firsthand with the massive rise of E-commerce.
Hoping to contribute her efforts to help the environment, she started with small changes in her daily habits. She searched for 'eco-friendly' fashion and to minimize her waste. However, as time passed, she realized many products are simply not eco and not affordable. The items were manufactured with harmful materials. Some vendors violated human rights or didn't put much effort into handling waste, but the most crucial factor was that existing products lacked the inspiration to change and help the only planet we have.
This is how Best For Myself was created with the mission to ensure that everyone has the option to influence their environment through sustainable fashion.
how are we helping
Environmental degradation is harmful because it threatens the long-term health of animals, humans, and plants. Air and water pollution, global warming, smog, acid rain, deforestation, and wildfires are some of the environmental issues we face now.
At BFM, we are doing everything possible to reduce these damages and actively contribute to a greener environment. Some of our efforts include sustainable manufacturing of our products, collaborating with companies and associations in the field, partnering with influencers, participating in conferences, and joining eco rallies worldwide.
